AIUMB welcomes PM Modi’s assurance to minorities as message of inclusion in India

Hazrat Sayyed Mohammed Ashraf Kichhouchi, the founder president of All India Ulama and Mashaikh Board (AIUMB), and Chairman of World Sufi Forum, hailed the agenda of the new government on minorities which came in the speech of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the parliamentary party meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Now it is a matter of great concern to repose the faith in the slogans of the new government such as #SabkaVishwas or  “winning everyone’s faith”. He welcomed PM Modi’s assurance to minorities in India stating:

‘After Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, win Sabka Vishwas’ is PM Modi’s message of inclusion which is welcomed by the Sufi community since the beginning.

The All India Ulama and Mashaikh Board, in their congratulatory message sent to the Prime Minister, had said that the continuous development of the country without winning the faith of every minority community is not possible. By highlighting this  crucial issue in his speech, the new government has adopted it as the original mantra given by PM Modi.

AIUMB President also told the media that the minorities of the country will get a share in the development of India without discrimination, as it clearly seems from the PM’s pledge.

He further said: “We appreciate this statement and pray that in the new story of the country’s development, the contribution of Indian Muslims would be remarkable, if the government makes an honest effort in this direction. This would be the biggest achievement against poverty and hatred”.

Communal harmony and love is is the mantra of development, he said.
