This Press Release is in Regards International Conference on Islamic Jurisprudence and Civilizational Fiqh in Surabaya and Sidoarjo on 6th & 7th Feb 2023.
Jakarta, The Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) will hold an International Conference on Islamic Jurisprudence and Civilizational Fiqh which will be held in Surabaya on 6th to 8th February 2023. Where the global ambassadors and a number of Religious Spiritual Leaders and representatives from 30 countries from around the world were also invited as participants in the event which is also a opening conference event of a number of year long series of events, conferences, activities and spiritual gatherings to commemorate The 100th year Centennial Celebration of Nahdtal Ulema – the largest organization of Indonesian Muslims in the world.
Haji Syed Salman Chishty General Secretary at All India Ulama & Mashaikh Board and World Sufi Forum , is invited to participate and represent AIUMB & Ajmer Sharif, India at the international conference on Islamic Jurisprudence and Civilizational Fiqh to be held in Surabaya and Sidoarjo, Indonesia , which is organised in the city’s biggest stadium shall be attended by close to One million active Indonesian members of Nahdtal Ulema along with leading Islamic Scholars, Spiritual Leaders, Interfaith Activists, Peace Makers from around the world on the 6-8th February 2023, were Haji Syed Salman Chishty shall share the global blessed message of Khawaja Gharib Nawaz (r.a) “Love towards All, Malice towards None”, Unconditional love and service towards all.
The head of Ta’lif wa Nasyr (LTN) of PBNU, H Ishaq Zubaidi Raqib reports that the press and media gathering was attended by all the national editors in chief and 19 reporters of foreign media. He states that this gathering came as sharing of a global message for their colleagues working in the national and international media that were present nearing the main event of NU’s celebrations.
This conference represents the close relationship between NU and the national media which has been fostered since NU’s establishment, especially during the era of KH Abdurrahman’s (Gus Dur) leadership of PBNU.
Haji Syed Salman Chishty, General Secretary of the All India Ulama & Mashaikh Board shall be sharing his presence with representation and services in social work, peace, harmony and sharing of Khawaja Gharib Nawaz (r) message of “Unconditional Love towards” All with the key speakers from Indonesia are Rais ‘Aam PBNU KH Miftachul Akhyar, Vice President KH Ma’ruf Amin, Professor HM Quraish Shihab, Mustasyar PBNU KH Ahmad Mustofa Bisri, and Deputy Rais ‘Aam PBNU KH Afifuddin Muhajir.
The event is also being supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs,
President of Indonesia H.E. Joko Widodo who shall be gracing the grand finale at the stadium addressing a NU members of one million strong presence on 7th February 2023 which has recognised 100th year NU centenary celebrations of the event in 2023.
Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, secretary general of the Mecca-based Muslim World League, co-chair the R20 summit with Kyai Haji Yahya Cholil Staquf, chairman of the Nahdlatul Ulama central board; and Pope Francis will be sending Cardinal Miguel Ángel Ayuso Guixot, president of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, as his formal representative.
Indonesia’s Nahdtal Ulema which hosted the first R20 Summit as the offical engagement group of G20 Presidency, and this year 2023 is being hosted by India since it will be the hosting country for the G20 2023 summit too. The third will be organised in Brazil, when it is due to host G20 2024. So, from a Muslim-majority nation to a Hindu-majority country and then to a Catholic nation — this is a unique summit that will integrate all religions.
Haji Syed Salman Chishty – General Secretary of AIUMB and World Sufi Forum shall be representing AIUMB & Ajmer Sharif, India at R20 Summit Round Table Conference on Interfaith Dialogues and Global Cooperation during his presence in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Thereafter on 09th February 2023, Haji Syed Salman Chishty shall be boarding the
early morning Emirates flight from Jakarta, Indonesia and will be heading to Dubai, UAE for the next 5 days to meet and greet seeking hearts from across Indian diaspora along with all other nationality residing in Dubai, will be visiting Spiritual Sacred Center, Interfaith Dialogues, Spiritual sacred music Renditions and Wellness Center for Talks and Teachings of Serving Humanity with Unconditional Love.
