Indian Muslims Will Not Be Lured Into the Trap of So-Called Islamic State: Press Release

All India Ulama &Mashaikh Board, an apex body of Sunni Sufi Muslims condemns the content and intent of the India specific video released by ISIS on social media.

AIUMB believes that Indian Muslims will not be influenced by this video as they believe in  composite culture  and have till now totally refused to  be swayed away by any propaganda.

President and Founder of AIUMB Syed Mohammad Ashraf Kichchawchchvi has in a statement  here today said that this  ISIS video has been created to divide the Indian society but the targeted audience i.e. Indian Muslims are practitioners of peace and pacifism and tolerance , hence there is no danger to the unity and integrity of the nation.

As riots and provocative statements of certain elements have created a sense of fear among minorities including Muslims so there is a necessity of releasing a statement from government side enlisting details of the steps taken to control the situation.

AIUMB has on its part started new programs to create awareness among Muslim youths and youth wings are formed in districts so that a sustained campaign against radicalization is carried forward.
